The reporter attended stove distributions in Nyamasheke District and reports about the importance of clean cooking to preserving Rwanda’s forestry.
Nyamasheke District borders Nyungwe Forest National Park to the west, therefore residents understand the dangers associated with deforestation near National Parks.
Several stove recipients gave testimony of the benefits they get from using the DelAgua stove, most of them referencing the use of less firewood & faster cooking times with very little smoke.
