On Tuesday, 4th June, DelAgua COO represented DelAgua at Invest Africa’s event on The Green Investment Opportunity in Rwanda. Invest Africa is a pan-African business platform that promotes trade and investment across Africa.
The Africa Debate is Invest Africa’s annual flagship event in London, which convenes African Heads of State and Ministers, corporate CEOs, investors, journalists, and thought leaders for a day of debates on Africa’s role in the world.
The UK-Rwanda partnership
The inaugural UK-Rwanda Business Forum took place in January 2024, providing unrivalled opportunities for high-level dialogue and networking, bringing together UK and Rwandan business leaders, investors, and senior government officials to discuss business opportunities available for each country and the business climate in Rwanda.
Subsquently, the British High Commission Kigali, Rwanda High Commission London, RDB & Invest Africa hosted a follow-up engagement on the sidelines of the Africa Debate 2024 edition.
During the Invest in Rwanda: The Green investment opportunity, Euan McDougall spoke about DelAgua’s experience working in Rwanda and shared the impact of our Live Well programme which has distributed 1.5million improved cook stoves across Rwanda and created employment for more than 200 Rwandans and 7,000 Community Health Workers over the years.
