Yesterday DelAgua was honoured to be awarded silver in the ‘Technology for Good’ category at the Global Good Awards.

This award recognises our innovative application of technology which drives the Live Well programme’s success. Our tech manages the complexity of distributing hundreds of thousands of stoves to remote rural communities efficiently, enables accurate tracking of stove location and usage and collects data essential to the integrity of the carbon credits generated which fund the programme.

This year the awards ceremony was held virtually and showcased many businesses, NGOs, charities and social enterprises of all shapes and sizes around the world, who are driving social and environmental change. On 12th October we’ll meet in London for The Purpose Summit, a day of insight, advice and bright ideas.

A huge thank you to founder of the awards Karen Sutton and to the panel of judges for acknowledging the huge impact that the Live Well programme is having on rural communities in Rwanda, The Gambia and Sierra Leone.

Well done to all the winners and finalists!
