We are thrilled to announce that we are winners of the annual EU Tech Chamber (EUTECH) SDG Awards for SDG3 Good Health and Well-being Award.

The EUTECH SDG Awards ceremony is an extraordinary event that brings together visionaries, change-makers, and advocates from around the globe. It is an inspiring showcase of ideas, projects, and initiatives that are transforming communities, societies, and the planet.

Thank you to the expert judging panel and all who voted for us for recognising the impact we are making on the health of over 7.5 million people in Rwanda, The Gambia and Sierra Leone and for supporting our mission to transform the lives and environment of Africa’s poorest rural communities by providing, free of charge, the world’s best-performing rocket stove along with lifelong integrated education and support.

There remains very low awareness of the impact of dirty cooking on health, the environment and climate change so we are grateful to EUTECH for this award which will help raise the profile not just of what DelAgua does but of the huge scale of the problem and how the provision of an improved cookstove and education can have so many positive impacts on multiple SDGs
