DelAgua Participates in Environment Day Run

The Ministry of Environment in coordination with the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) in Sierra Leone organized an Environment Day run on Saturday, 8th June, to conclude the week long events that marked the 2024 Environment day themed “Land Restoration, desertification and drought resilience”.

On the event sidelines, the team met with Dr. Abu-Bakar S. Massaquoi of the Environment Protection Agency and Dr. Kandeh Yumkella, the Chairman of the Presidential Initiative for Climate Change, Renewable Energy and food security.

Ibrahim Marrah, DelAgua’s Country Representative in Sierra Leone, spoke to them about our partnerships with the Ministry of Energy, Ministry Environment and Ministry of Youth and how they can provide support to scale up our Live Well programme and its successful implementation across the country.
