DelAgua Kit Case Study - Comet ME - Water Consumption and Testing in Communities of South Mount Hebron

Comet-ME is an Israeli-Palestinian non-governmental organisation that works to provide electricity by solar energy and sustainable water services to Palestinian communities in the South Mount Hebron region. They are using water pumping systems that distributes and filters water in order to fulfil the basic water needs of the community.

Comet-ME installs water systems for families to help them satisfy their daily needs of water. The water system comprises of 4 main components: pumping, storage, distribution and filtration.

This case study looks at the water consumption in the SMH region and the water quality index of the cistern and biosand filters.
